For use with 5/16" or 3/8" Grade 70 transport chain. Special hook construction supports the load of the chain and will not bind. Take up is approximately 3.75 inches. Load binder is heat treated and proof tested with forged heat treated clevis hooks that are marked 5/16-3/8 G7. Color of binders shipped may vary depending on current stock. This lever chain binder has a Working Load Limit of 6,600 lbs which is permanently marked on handle. This 6,600lb WLL matches the rating of Grade 70 3/8" transport chain. Most lower grade binders only have a 5,400lb WLL is 18% lower than the HD 6,600lb WLL. WARNING: Do not exceed WLL (working load limit) for any tie down or cargo control device.
